To inform agencies of proper coding to be used on vouchers when making payments to the Department of Correctional Services – Division of Industries and the elimination of Route Code ‘B’.

Effective immediately, all payments to Correctional Industries will be made electronically. Therefore, agencies must discontinue the use of Route Code ‘B’ on payment vouchers and amend their vendor files to remove this route code option from their system(s).

Vouchers for payments to Correctional Industries should continue to include the following coding so payments are combined.

• Payee ID: 146013200
• Additional: DCS99
• Zip Code: 12204

In conjunction with this change, Route Code ‘B’ will be made obsolete in the Central Accounting System 30-days after the issuance of this bulletin.

Error code 631-INVALID ROUTE CODE will be reported if Check Route ‘B’ is used in voucher entry or correct.
