| Purpose | To notify agencies of changes to New York City resident tax withholding tables |
| Affected Employees | State employees who LIVE in the five boroughs of New York City |
| Effective Dates | Paychecks dated July 29, 1999 for Institutional payroll Paychecks dated August 4, 1999 for Administrative payroll |
| Impact | The withholding rates for New York City residents have been reduced, effective July 1, 1999. As a result, employees who live in New York City may have a slight decrease in withheld taxes and a corresponding increase in net pay. |
