Purpose To explain the guidelines and processing procedures for payment
Affected Employees  Certain employees in the title of Building Service Assistant I or scheduled to be reclassified to the title of Building Service Assistant I

Bonus Limit Maximum amount of bonus is $500
Overtime and Retirement The bonus reported should be included in the calculation of overtime and is excluded from salary for all retirement purposes.
Processing Procedures To pay eligible employees, use the following entries on the Additional Pay Panel
Earn Code OGS
Effective Date  11/25/1999
Earnings Amount of Bonus
Earn End Date 11/22/2000
Payroll Register and Employee’s Paycheck/Advice The earn code OGS and the amount paid will be displayed on the payroll register and the employee’s check or advice.
