Chapter 73 of the Laws of 2000, which implements the agreement between the State and Council 82, provides for uniform allowance payments | ||||||||
| Payment Amount and Eligibility Criteria |
The uniform allowance will be $550 for
full time employees in the Security Supervisors Unit (BU 61), except for
employees in Shock Incarceration Camps who receive $600 (Agencies 10190,
10200, 10510, 10600 and 10820.) To be eligible, such employees must:
Employees on a part-time basis will receive a pro-rated amount. Eligible employees on an approved leave without pay on the eligibility date are entitled to the payment when they return to the payroll. The Uniform Allowance is not included in the calculations of overtime. |

| OSC Action | OSC will automatically apply the 1999 Uniform Allowance for eligible employees who were active on the payroll November 3, 1999 for Institution and November 10, 1999 for Administration. Employees on Sick Leave at 50 percent are entitled to a full amount. Employees who are on a part-time basis will receive a pro-rated amount. | ||||||||
