| Background | Chapter 68 of the Laws of 2000 provides for a Uniform Cleaning and Maintenance Allowance for eligible M/C employees. | ||||||||
| Payment Amount and Eligibility Criteria |
A Uniform Cleaning and Maintenance Allowance of $550 is payable to full-time, annual salaried employees in M/C Bargaining Unit 06 in one of the eligible titles on November 3, 1999 for Institution agencies and November 10, 1999 for Administration agencies. Eligible departments and titles include:
Eligible employees who were on sick leave at 50 percent pay on the eligibility date are entitled to the full amount. Permanent employees who were working on a part-time basis on the eligibility date are entitled to a pro-rated allowance equal to the pro-rated amount of their employment. Eligible employees on an approved leave without pay on the eligibility date are entitled to the payment when they return to the payroll. The Uniform Cleaning and Maintenance Allowance is not pensionable and is not included in the calculation of overtime. |
