Background

Temporary and seasonal positions have expiration dates. These dates are required and maintained for Executive branch agencies by the Department of Civil Service in NYSTEP and by the Division of the Budget on Personal Service Schedules.

Specifics

  • This field will be populated when a temporary or seasonal position is established.
  • This field will be display only for agencies.
  • This field is informational only. No automatic processes will be initiated when a temporary or seasonal position expires.
  • Existing position records will be updated at a later date.
