| Subject | Changes in New York City Resident Withholding Taxes |
| Purpose | To advise agencies of changes in the New York City Resident withholding taxes. The withholding rates for New York City Residents have been reduced. The withholding rates for supplemental payments for New York City Residents have also been reduced. |
| Affected Employees | State employees who LIVE in the five boroughs of New York City. |
| Effective Date | These changes are effective with the Administration checks dated January 3, 2001 and Institution checks dated January 11, 2001. |
