In preparation for the third rollout of agencies to the new payroll system, all payrolls will continue to be processed using the accelerated submission schedule, sent in Bulletin No. 24, dated June 23, 1998.

In an effort to not adversely affect hourly employee’s paychecks during this period, the Office of the State Comptroller is recommending, where practical, that agencies project hours worked if actual hours worked for each payroll period are not available by the required submission date. Any adjustments to the projected amount would then be submitted by the agency in the following payroll period.
