| Subject | Shift Lump Sum Payment for the Winter Maintenance Season | ||||||||

| Affected Employees | CSEA employees in the Operation Services Unit (Bargaining Unit 03) in the Department of Transportation. | ||||||||
| Effective Date | Payments may be submitted in pay period 17 lag, check dated December 5, 2001. | ||||||||
| Contract Provisions and Eligibility Requirements |
Pursuant to Article 51 of the CSEA
Operational Services Unit Agreement, employees assigned to winter maintenance
shifts which require them to change their normal working hours to a shift, any
part of which falls between the hours of 6:00 pm and 6:00 am on a regularly
scheduled basis, shall receive a lump sum payment of $300. Employees eligible for the $300 shift lump sum payment shall not receive inconvenience pay for the same period of their winter maintenance shift. |
