To notify agencies of the additional field, NYS EMPLID, to be printed on employee paycheck stubs and direct deposit advice statements.

Background |
As part of the implementation of the Statewide Financial System Project (SFS), a new employee identifier field, NYS EMPLID, was added to the Modify a Person Page in PayServ and added to the Payroll Master File (NHRP501). This process was explained in Payroll Bulletin 1074.

OSC Actions |
OSC will add the new field and print the NYS EMPLID on employee paycheck stubs and direct deposit advice statements.

Agency Actions |
The paycheck stub or direct deposit advice can now be used as a means to communicate the NYS EMPLID to employees.
