UCS INCREMENT CODES

0001 An employee whose salary is below the maximum salary of his or her grade, who by March 31 has rendered 120 full days of service in his or her grade during the fiscal year and is entitled to an increment, not to exceed the maximum salary rate for the grade.
0003 An employee whose salary is below the maximum salary of his or her grade, who by March 31 has not rendered sufficient increment earning service in his or her grade during the fiscal year and is not entitled to an increment the following April 1.

OR

An employee whose salary is equal to or above the longevity step for his or her grade

0004 (w/FIS SALARY)

An employee whose salary was equal to the maximum salary, but below the longevity salary of his or her former grade, who subsequently received a one grade promotion and is entitled to an adjusted salary. On the April 1 that the employee’s salary would otherwise have been advanced to the longevity step of his or her former grade (if he or she had not been promoted), the employee’s salary in the promoted grade is recalculated as if the promotion had occurred on the longevity salary (rather than the maximum) of the lower grade.

0006 (w/FIS SALARY)

An employee whose salary is below the maximum salary of his or her grade, who was promoted and does not have 120 full work days of service in the promoted grade, but has 120 full work days of service in both grades and is entitled to the difference between the sum of two increments of the promoted grade and the amount received upon promotion, not to exceed the maximum salary rate for the grade.

1996 An employee whose salary is equal to or above the maximum salary of his or her grade,

but below the longevity salary, who has completed four increment earning years of service credit at the maximum salary level and is entitled to a longevity increment April 1, 2000, not to exceed the longevity salary for the grade.
