Rate Increases The rate increases are effective 7/1/99 and 7/1/00 for Oiler, Oiler (CUNY) and Stationary Engineer titles. The effective dates of the increases for Senior Stationary Engineers are effective 7/1/99, 7/1/00 and 9/30/01. The new rates and other information are contained in Carmelo Batista, Jr.'s memorandum, dated 6/10/2002. Change in the Eligibility Rules for Overtime As per Carmelo Batista, Jr.'s memorandum, dated 6/10/02, effective 9/30/01, employees in these titles are to be paid at the overtime rate for all work performed after 8 hours actually worked on the employee's regular workday. This change in eligibility criteria may result in additional overtime payments for employees in these titles for overtime work performed on or after 9/30/01.
