Subject Dues and Agency Shop Fee Increase for Local 30 International Union of Operating Engineers
Purpose To explain an automatic dues/agency shop fee increase and new structure for dues/agency shop for employees in the title of Sr. Stationary Engineer (Job Code 016226).
Affected Employees Employees in bargaining Unit T2
Effective Date Checks dated October 17, 2002
OSC Actions OSC will automatically increase the dues (code 268) and agency shop fee (code 297) for the following titles:

Oiler  31.66
Stationary Engineer 33.70
Sr. Stationary Engineer A 37.32
Sr. Stationary Engineer B 37.96
Sr. Stationary Engineer C 38.48
Sr. Stationary Engineer C+ 38.96
Sr. Stationary Engineer D 40.00
Agency Actions Notify affected employees.
Note: The system's automatic agency shop edit program can only default one agency shop amount for each job code. Due to the use of one job code for the title Sr. Stationary Engineer, verification of the defaulted amount is required when a Job Data change (i.e., Hire, Pay Rate Change) is entered. Please contact the Systems Deduction Team for assistance with the timing of this verification, where applicable.
