Subject CUNY Campaign 2003
Purpose To provide instructions for processing payroll deductions for a new option of continuous giving and also notify agencies of applicable deduction end dates for the 2003 CUNY Campaign.
Affected Employees All Employees in The City University of New York
Effective Date Checks dated January 9, 2003
Agency Actions Agencies are required to enter the transactions for deduction code 897, United Way of CUNY, into the payroll system on the employee's General Deduction Data (Agency) panel.

There are now two options available for the CUNY Campaign.
1.   Continuous Giving Program - Agencies should not enter a deduction end date for these employees.
2.   Calendar Year 2003 Program - Agencies should enter the applicable deduction end dates as follows:
     Institution (Lag) - 12/10/2003 
     Institution (Current) - 12/24/2003
