| Subject | Dues and Agency Shop Fee Increase for New York State Nurses Association |
| Purpose | To explain an automatic dues and agency shop fee increase. |
| Affected Employees | Employees in Bargaining Unit TE. |
| Effective Date | Institution paycheck dated 07/10/2003. |
| OSC Processing | OSC will automatically increase the biweekly deduction to $34.08 for dues (code 207) and agency shop fee (code 218). |
| Agency Actions | When entering a transaction for deduction codes 207 and 218, agencies must choose the deduction calculation routine of "Flat Amount" and enter the valid deduction amount ($34.08). There is no on-line edit for the dollar amount entered on-line. |
