*Subject*	Pay Rate Changes for CUNY Skilled Trade Titles
*Purpose*	To explain the procedure for processing pay increases
*Affected Employees*	Electrician, Supervisor Electrician and Electrician’s Helper
*Effective Date*	May 11, 2000, checks dated May 18, 2000
*Background*	The rate increases are contained in Carmelo Batista, Jr.’s memorandum dated March 27, 2000.
Raise Processing Period 3C: OSC Responsibility	After the agency cut off date for pay period 3 current (May 3, 2000), OSC will insert rows on Job Data to reflect new rates using Action/Reason code of Pay Change (Pay)/Change Rate (CRT).
*Time Entry*	To report earnings, the agency must insert rows if the dates being reported overlap the date of the rate increase. The first row must be entered to report earnings prior to May 11, 2000. An additional row must be inserted to report earnings on or after May 11, 2000.
*Revised Rate Chart*	A revised rate chart that reflects the increased rates and earnings codes will be faxed to agencies.
