District Council 37, Local 1359, Division of Housing and Community Renewal, Dues and Agency Shop Fee Increase
Purpose
 To notify agencies of an automatic Dues and Agency Shop Fee increase.
Affected Employees
 Employees in Bargaining Unit 67.
Effective Date(s)
Paychecks dated 1/9/08.
OSC Actions

Dues (Code 224) and Agency Shop Fee (Code 230) deductions are based on an employee’s annual salary, Pay Basis Code and percentage of time worked. OSC will automatically apply the increase as follows:

Annual Salary

Deduction Amount

Up to $28,000

$21.70

$28,001 to $38,000

$22.60

$38,001 to $48,000

$23.55

$48,001 and above

$24.50

A single amount of $21.70 will be deducted for all employees with a Pay Basis Code of HRY.
Agency Actions

Notify affected employees.

It is the agency’s responsibility to change the employee’s Dues or Agency Shop Fee when an employee changes the percentage of time worked.

Exception:  The Dues or Agency Shop Fee deduction for employees on Sick Leave at half pay should not be reduced.
