Chapter 45 of the Laws of 1998 which implements the Arbitration Award for the NYSPIA, representing the Investigators and Senior Investigators (NU-62), provides for a $200 lump-sum payment for each member holding the permanent rank of Sergeant during the fiscal year 1998-1999.
The $200 payment for these employees in NU-62 will be paid in Period 21L/22C in the employees regular check dated February 3, 1999. The payment will be made by the agency submitting the transactions through the Time Entry Panels as follows:
Chapters 205 and 501 of the Laws of 1997 which implement the Arbitration Awards for the PBA, representing Non-Commissioned/Commissioned Officers (NU-17) and Troopers (NU-07), provide for an Emergency Response payment to members during the period April 1, 1997 through March 31, 1999.
The Emergency Response payment for eligible employees in NU-07 and NU-17 will be paid in Period 22L in the employees regular check dated February 17, 1999. The payment will be made by the agency submitting the transactions through the Time Entry Panels as follows:

The appropriate earn code and the amount will be displayed on the Payroll Register and the employees check or direct deposit stub.
