| Education Payment Employees in NU-62 who obtain or currently possess a recognized degree from an accredited and recognized college or university during the period April 1, 1998 - March 31, 1999 shall receive a lump sum payment of $250 for an Associate Degree, $500 for a Bachelor Degree and $750 for a Masters or Doctoral Degree. If any degree is obtained in the April 1998 - March 1999 fiscal year, then only one degree shall merit payment during this period. Employees in NU-07 and NU-17 continue to be eligible for a $200 payment for an Associate Degree and $500 for a Bachelors or Masters Degree. The Education Payments will be processed as follows: For employees in NU-62 Grade 704 (Investigators), the payment must be processed through the Additional Pay Panel. Eligible employees in NU-07 should also be processed through these panels.

For employees in NU-62, Grade 707 (Senior Investigators) and employees in NU-17, the payment must be processed through the Time Entry Panels as follows:
Fitness Payment Certain employees in NU-07, NU-17 and NU-62 are entitled to a fitness payment. To pay eligible employees the Fitness Bonus in NU-07 and the Investigators, Grade 704, in NU-62, use the earnings code FTA. These entries must be processed through the Additional Pay Panel.
To pay eligible employees in NU-62, Grade 707 (Senior Investigators) and employees in NU-17, the payment must be processed through the Time Entry Panels as follows:
Payments will be included in the employees regular paycheck based on the agency submission dates. The appropriate earn code and amount will be displayed on the Payroll Register and the employees check or direct deposit stub.
