Certain employees in bargaining unit 62 are entitled to a $200 Special Training Stipend.

Your Payroll Office can begin to process this payment in April using the earn code STS to pay eligible employees. This should be processed through the Time Entry Panel as follows:

Amount

Enter Period Paid Begin Date
Enter Period Paid End Date
STS
Enter Payment Amount

Payment will be included in the employee’s regular check based on the agency submission dates.

The earn code STS and amount will be displayed on the Payroll Register and the employee’s check or direct deposit stub.
