Subject

Change in Union Dues/Agency Shop Fee Calculations for Employees in United University Professions (UUP)

Purpose To inform agencies that Location Pay ( LOC ) and Location Mid Hudson Pay ( LMH ) will be included as salary for the calculation of Union Dues/Agency Shop Fees.
Affected Employees

Employees in Bargaining Unit 08 with the following Deduction Codes:

  • 215 – UUP Fee Payer 26P
  • 222 – UUP Member 26P
  • 260 – UUP Member 21P
  • 262 – UUP Fee Payer 21P
Background In accordance with UUP policies, these additional earnings are included in the calculation of Union Dues/Agency Shop Fees.
Effective
Date		 Paychecks dated August 11, 2004.
OSC Actions OSC will include LOC and LMH pay in the calculation of Union Dues/Agency Shop Fees.
Agency Actions Notify affected employees of these changes.
