Change in Eligibility for AFLAC Voluntary Supplemental Insurance Program for Certain SUNY Employees

Purpose

To notify SUNY agencies of the modified eligibility for Deduction Code 380, AFLAC Voluntary Supplemental Insurance Program.

Affected Employees

Employees in Bargaining Unit 08 represented by the United University Professions (UUP).

Effective Date(s)

Paychecks dated February 17, 2010.

OSC Actions

OSC will modify the PayServ system to allow members of Bargaining Unit 08 to participate in Personal Accident and Personal Cancer insurance products through the supplemental insurance program administered by AFLAC.

OSC will automatically process deduction transactions for this deduction.  The vendor will submit all transactions for enrollments, cancellations, and/or changes.
