| Automated Processing Information |
Since the 1996 discretionary pool was not fully expended, eligible employees are entitled to a one-time adjustment of $75.33. OSC will automatically insert a row in Time Entry for payroll period 13L for full-time employees, with an Increment code of 0096 as follows:
Payment will be included in the employee's regular check dated October 13, 1999. |

| Agency Processing Information |
Agencies can enter the following additional Discretionary Payments through the Time Entry panel:
The State has agreed to provide 21P employees, who received the 1996 discretionary payment, a one-time adjustment of $16.80 to provide parity with those employees paid on a CAL pay basis. This payment is to be processed in payroll period 13L, checks dated 10/13/99, through the Time Entry panel using the earn code DC2 as follows:
The following payments are to be processed in payroll period 16L, checks dated 11/24/99: Since the 1996 discretionary pool was not fully expended, eligible employees are entitled to a one-time adjustment of $37.66. This payment is to be processed through the Time Entry panel using the earn code DC3 as follows:
Certain part-time employees receive the 1996 discretionary increases as a separate payment during the academic year. Payments for the 1999-2000 year are to be processed through the Time Entry panel using the earn code DLS for the $140 payment or DLP for the $280 payment as follows:
The appropriate earn code and amount will be displayed on the payroll register and the employee's check or direct deposit advice. |
