| Affected Employees | Active employees in Bargaining Units 08 and 41 with the following Pay Basis Codes: 21P, ANN, BIW, CAL, CYF and CYP. | ||||||||

Effective Date |
Payment will be included in the employee's regular check dated March 28, 2001. | ||||||||
| Eligibility |
Employees who were part-time during the
1996 academic year or were part-time in 1996, and have since changed to
full-time, are eligible. Employees who were full-time during the 1996 academic year and have since changed to part-time are not eligible. Part-time employees who received $296 for the full 2000-2001 academic year in the check dated December 6, 2000 are not eligible for this DLS payment. |

| Agency Processing Information |
Certain part-time employees receive the
1996 discretionary increases as a separate payment during the academic year.
Effective pay period 25L, payments for the 2000-2001 spring semester are to be
processed through the Time Entry panel using the earn code DLS for the $148
payment as follows:

| Payroll Register and Employee's Check/Advice | The earn code DLS and the amount will be displayed on the payroll register and Discretionary LSP-1 Semester on the employee's check or direct deposit advice. | ||||||||
