| Subject | 2002 Shift Lump Sum Payment for the Winter Maintenance Season | ||||||||
| Purpose | To provide agency procedures for processing payments | ||||||||
| Eligible Employees | CSEA employees in the Operation Services Unit (Bargaining Unit 03) in the Department of Transportation. | ||||||||
| Effective Date | Payments may be submitted in pay period 17 lag, check dated December 4, 2002. | ||||||||
| Contract Provisions and Eligibility Requirements |
Pursuant to Article 51 of the CSEA
Operational Services Unit Agreement, employees assigned to winter maintenance
shifts which require them to change their normal working hours to a shift, any
part of which falls between the hours of 6:00 pm and 6:00 am on a regularly
scheduled basis, shall receive a lump sum payment of $300. Employees eligible for the $300 shift lump sum payment shall not receive inconvenience pay for the same period of their winter maintenance shift. |

| Payroll Register and Employee's Paycheck | The earn code SHL and the amount will be displayed on the payroll register. The earnings description "Shift Lump Sum" and the amount will be displayed on the employee's check or advice. | ||||||||
