To provide agency procedures for processing payments.

CSEA employees in the Operational Services Unit (Bargaining Unit 03) in the Department of Transportation.

Payment will be made in a separate check dated June 6, 2012, Pay Period Administration 4L.

Background |
Chapter 491 of the Laws of 2011 implementing agreements between the State of New York and the Civil Service Employees Association provides for Call Out Bonus Pay for eligible employees.
The Winter Maintenance season is from November 1, 2011 to April 15, 2012.

Eligibility Requirements |
Employees assigned to the Winter Maintenance Program of the Highway Maintenance Division and who were called out ten (10) or more times during the season will receive payments based on the following:

Employees who were Active during the season but have been Inactive since March 31, 2012 also will be paid at this time.

| Payroll Register and Employee Paycheck |
The Earn Code COB and the amount will be displayed on the payroll register. The earnings description, Call Out Bonus, will appear on the employee’s paycheck stub.
There is no direct deposit for this payment.

This payment is subject to all income and employment withholding taxes. Income taxes will be calculated using the current marital status and withholding allowances(s) in the employee’s tax data record. If there is an additional tax amount indicated in the employee's tax data record, the additional tax will be deducted from both the regular paycheck and the separate
