| Subject | Call-Out Response Payment for Employees Engaged in Winter Maintenance Activities for the 2002-2003 Fiscal Year | ||||||||||||
| Purpose | To provide agency procedures for processing payments. | ||||||||||||
| Affected Employees | CSEA employees in the Operational Services Unit (Bargaining Unit 03) in the Department of Transportation. | ||||||||||||

Payment will be made in a separate check, pay period Administration 4L, checks dated June 4, 2003. | ||||||||||||
| Background | Pursuant to Chapter 68 of the Laws of 2000 which implements payment of the Call-Out Response payment. | ||||||||||||
| Eligibility Requirements |
Employees assigned to the winter
maintenance program of the Highway Maintenance Division, and who were called
out ten or more times during the season, will receive payments based on the
following:
Employees who were active during the season, but have been inactive since March 31, 2003, will also be paid at this time. |

| Payroll Register and Employee's |
The earn code COB and the amount will
be displayed on the payroll register. The earnings description, CALL OUT
BONUS, will appear on the employee's check stub. |
