Released: June 21, 2016 -- [read complete report - pdf] | [read 2013 report - pdf] | [read 2011 report - pdf]

Purpose of Audit

The purpose of our review was to assess the District's progress as of January 2016 in implementing our recommendations in the audit reports released in 2011 and 2013.

Background

The East Ramapo Central School District is located in Rockland County. The District is governed by an elected nine-member Board of Education.

Results of Review

Based on our limited procedures, it appears that the Town has made limited progress on implementing corrective action. Of the five audit recommendations from the 2013 report, one recommendation was fully implemented, one was partially implemented and three were not implemented. Of the 11 audit recommendations from the 2011 report, one recommendation was fully implemented, seven were partially implemented, two were not implemented and one was not applicable.
