DiNapoli's Office Completes School Budget Reviews

New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli today announced his office completed school district budget reviews of:

• Campbell-Savona Central School District (Steuben County)
• Chenango Valley Central School District (Broome County)
• East Moriches Union Free School District (Suffolk County)
• Liberty Central School District (Sullivan County)
• Monroe-Woodbury Central School District (Orange County)
• Patchogue-Medford Union Free School District (Suffolk County)
• Schenectady City School District (Schenectady County)
• South Country Central School District (Suffolk County)

“My office’s audits and budget reviews of school districts and BOCES help schools improve their financial management practices,” DiNapoli said. “These audits and reviews are tools for schools to make sure proper policies and procedures are in place to protect taxpayer dollars and provide students with the best possible education.”
