School District Accountability
In order to improve accountability of the state’s schools, DiNapoli’s office audited all 733 of New York’s school districts and Boards of Cooperative Educational Services. Auditors from DiNapoli’s office are returning to some of these school districts to conduct follow-up reviews to determine if the schools implemented his auditors’ recommendations.
