David Paterson is the right man at the right time for New York. He understands that strength and humility are not mutually exclusive. His ability to find compromise and common ground is the right prescription to heal the wounds our state has suffered.

Today marks a new beginning for New York, a fresh page in our state’s history. This is a moment for courage and integrity. Governor Paterson has both.
