DiNapoli’s Office Completes School Audits
New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli today announced his office completed budget reviews of the Greater Amsterdam School District and the Enlarged City School District of Troy.
“My office’s audits of school districts and BOCES help schools improve their financial management practices,” DiNapoli said. “These audits are tools for schools to make sure proper policies and procedures are in place to protect taxpayer dollars and provide students with the best possible education.”
Greater Amsterdam School District – Budget Review
Upon reviewing the 2010-11 proposed budget for the Greater Amsterdam School District, DiNapoli’s auditors found that the budgeted estimated revenues and appropriations appear reasonable.
Enlarged City School District of Troy – Budget Review
The estimated revenues and appropriations for the 2010-11 proposed budget of the Enlarged City School District of Troy appear to be reasonable.
