DiNapoli’s Office Completes School Audits
New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli today announced his office completed budget reviews of the Greater Amsterdam School District, the Enlarged City School District of Troy and the East Moriches Union Free School District.
“My office’s audits of school districts and BOCES help schools improve their financial management practices,” DiNapoli said. “These audits are tools for schools to make sure proper policies and procedures are in place to protect taxpayer dollars and provide students with the best possible education.”
Greater Amsterdam School District– Budget Review (Montgomery County)
Based on the results of a review, auditors found the significant revenue and expenditure projections in the tentative budget appear reasonable.
Enlarged City School District of Troy – Budget Review (Rensselaer County)
Based on the results of a review, auditors found that the significant revenue and expenditure projections in the proposed budget are reasonable.
East Moriches Union Free School District – Budget Review (Suffolk County)
Based on the results of a review, auditors found that the significant revenue and expenditure projections in the tentative budget are reasonable.
