Would You Like Extra Money to Spend During the Holidays?
New York State has $8 Billion to Return
New Yorkers can find out if they are owed some of the State’s $8 billion in unclaimed funds at events across the state in November, State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli announced today.
“New York has $8 billion in unclaimed fund accounts,” DiNapoli said. “The money belongs to New Yorkers and they could use it now more than ever with the holiday season fast approaching.”
Representatives from DiNapoli’s office will be on site at the events listed below to help New Yorkers find out if they are owed money. New Yorkers and others may also check for unclaimed funds on-line at www.osc.state.ny.us or by calling toll free at 1-800-221-9311.
