CRF September Transactions Total $478.5 Million
The New York State Common Retirement Fund closed five transactions totaling approximately $478.5 million in September, according to a report released today by State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.
The Fund added $200 million to an existing relationship with Earnest Partners in its domestic equity portfolio, and allocated an additional $75 million to an existing relationship with Generation Investment Managers in its international equity portfolio.
The Fund also committed $200 million to an existing relationship with Oaktree Capital Management in its private equity portfolio, and closed two affordable housing transactions in its real estate portfolio worth $3.5 million.
DiNapoli publishes monthly transaction reports that detail the nature, size, and parties of Fund investments. This effort is part of DiNapoli’s ongoing commitment to increasing transparency and openness in the operations of the pension fund. Monthly reports dating back to February 2007 are also available online.
