President Barack Obama’s American Jobs Act Address

“Tonight President Obama stood tall and presented a coherent, necessary and bold plan to create jobs and get our economy back on track right now. Putting people back to work is a non-partisan idea that we can all get behind and I urge Congress to take up this bill and make it the law.

“The American Jobs Act is a catalyst-for getting teachers back into our schools, for rebuilding our infrastructure and for putting money into the pockets of working Americans. Our country needs the common sense, direct solutions proposed tonight by President Obama.”
