What Every Employer Should Know
Monthly reports contain information about data on the salaries you paid your employees and the days each of them worked during the previous month. All employees with an active NYSLRS membership must be reported to us.
Monthly employee service, salary and contribution information is reported to us via the Internet using our Retirement Internet Reporting (RIR) program. RIR gives you control over the monthly reports; allows you to make adjustments and/or corrections to your data online, enables you to use electronic debiting when submitting your monthly payments and helps reduce the time you spend on reporting employees’ salary and service information to us.
We must receive your report by the seventh day of the month following the report period.
