New Registration Numbers For New P&F Members
Beginning April 1, all new Police and Fire Tier 2 members will be assigned registration numbers containing the prefix 0B (zero B) instead of 0A. Registration numbers will continue to have eight characters; only the prefix will differ. This change is necessary because we will soon run out of numbers with the 0A prefix. Please review your reporting programs to see if any changes will be needed to accommodate 0B numbers. If you use a payroll service provider, please advise them of this change. It is important to note that this change will not affect your current P&F members — you should continue reporting them with their current registration numbers beginning with 0A.
