Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide agencies with instructions for submitting the January 1, 2020 salary increases.

Executive Law Section 169 Commissioners are affected.
Background
Pursuant to the recommendations of the Committee on Legislative and Executive Compensation established by Chapter 59 of the Laws of 2018, effective January 1, 2020, the salaries of the following Executive Law Section 169 Commissioners are increased as follows:
| Tier-A Commissioners | $210,000 |
| Tier-B Commissioners | $190,000 |
| Tier-C Commissioners | $160,000-$180,000* |
| Tier-D Commissioners | $120,000-$140,000* |
*The salaries for Commissioners in Tiers C and D will be authorized by the Executive and DOB will provide further guidance.

Effective Date(s)
Executive Law Section 169 Commissioners salary increases are effective Administration Pay Period 20L, paychecks dated 01/22/2020.
Agency Actions
Agencies must submit a Pay Change on the Job Action Requests page using the Reason Code SIC (Salary Increase), the effective date of 01/01/2020, and the appropriate salary.
