OSC Actions

The dues (456) and agency shop fee (457) deductions will now be determined based on Annual Salary (excludes salary factors). These employees previously had a $6.00 biweekly deduction. The new amounts are:

Annual Salary Deduction
Under $30,000 $4.00
$30,000 - $39,999 $5.40
$40,000 - $49,999 $6.75
$50,000 - $59,999 $8.10
$60,000 - $69,999 $9.40
$70,000 - $79,999 $10.75
$80,000 - $89,999 $12.10
$90,000 - $99,999 $13.45
$100,000 and above $14.80

OSC will automatically apply the dues amounts based on the above chart. When pay rate changes are processed on the job panels, OSC will automatically recalculate the employee's dues/agency shop deductions. If an employee is placed on a Sick Leave with Pay the deduction will automatically be pro rated based on the employee's percentage.

Agency Actions

For future processing, when entering these deduction codes the calculation routine to be used is Flat Amount. The amount to be entered is then based on the above chart.
