Applicants must be full-time, matriculated students at a regionally accredited college or university, or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable educational practices. Students must be in the process of completing their sophomore, junior or senior year of college at the time of application. All majors will be considered. Students must submit the following in order to be considered for participation in the Comptroller’s Future Forward Internship Academy:
- Online application
- Resume (Can be uploaded via online application process).
- Three-page writing sample demonstrating linguistic and analytical skills (Can be submitted via the online application).
Students must also submit their official college transcript in a sealed envelope from their academic institution and two letters of recommendation in their original sealed envelopes to:

Applicants wishing to participate in the 2020 Summer Session can submit their application beginning October 1, 2019. Applicants must have all application materials sent to the Comptroller's Future Forward Internship Academy no later than 5:00 pm on February 28, 2020.
Summer Session will be held: May 27, 2020 through August 14, 2020.
