Purpose of Audit

The purpose of our audit was to examine the Village’s internal controls over claims processing for the period of June 1, 2012 through January 31, 2014.

Background

The Village of Galway is located in the Town of Galway in Saratoga County and has a population of approximately 200. It is governed by an elected Board of Trustees that comprises a Mayor and two Trustees. Reported expenditures for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2013 totaled $61,068.
