• $5 million with the Mental Health Association of NYC for the problem gambling and chemical dependency toll free helpline.

• $18.2 million to Lafayette School District for Native American school tuition.
• $11.1 million to the New York State Nurses Association for peer assistance.

• $1.4 million with The Wesson Group, LLC to rehabilitate the Stewart Landing Dam in Fulton County.
• $1.9 million with Tioga Construction Company, Inc. to reconstruct dam and water control devices for the Perch River Wildlife Management Area in Jefferson County.

Office of Information Technology Services

• $8 million with Annese and Associates, Inc. for remote field support services.

Division of State Police

• $5.3 million with Compass Group USA, Inc. for food service at the New York State Police Academy.

• $8.2 million to New York City for the Urban Area Security Initiative Program (UASI).

New York State Legislature – Assembly

• $31,000 to Carlin Meyer, Esq. for outside counsel to the New York State Assembly's Committee on Ethics and Guidance.
• $11,000 to Roemer Wallens Gold & Mineaux, LLP for outside counsel for independent investigations of sexual harassment.
• $4,000 to Bracewell, LLP for outside counsel to assist the New York State Assembly with preparation and discovery in the retrial of former Assemblyman Sheldon Silver in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

• $7.7 million to Marcy Excavation Services, LLC for parking lot improvements at the New York State Fairgrounds in Onondaga County.
• $4.8 million to El Sol Contracting ES II Enterprises JV for bridge repairs on the Gowanus Expressway in Kings County.
• $4.6 million to Skanska-Kiewit-Ecco III JV associated with the replacement of the Kosciuszko Bridge in New York City.
• $4.5 million to Lancaster Development and Tully Construction Co., LLC for reconstruction of the I-81 and NY 17 Interchange in Broome County.
• $1.9 million to Tully Construction Co, Inc. for bridge rehabilitation on the Major Deegan Expressway in New York City.

New York State Thruway Authority

• $41 million to Tappan Zee Constructors, LLC for the New NY Bridge Project.

Payment Rejections and Other Cost Recoveries

The office rejected nearly 1,600 payments valued at nearly $5.6 million, including tax refunds valued at more than $1.7 million. The Comptroller's auditors also recovered nearly $59,000 from vendors owing debts to the state, and held payments of nearly $990,000 pending resolution of disputes between subcontractors and prime contractors.

Cumulatively through June for calendar year 2018, the Comptroller's office has approved 8,822 contracts valued at $46.7 billion and approved more than 19.5 million payments worth more than $79.6 billion. The office has rejected 970 contracts and related transactions valued at nearly $2.2 billion and more than 17,000 payments valued at more than $33.9 million primarily due to errors, improprieties or lack of documentation.
