If you need help with Retirement Online, call our employer help desk at 844-619-9614, Mon-Fri, between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, or send an inquiry using the employer help desk form. To protect the health of our members and employees, our Retirement System consultation offices are closed for face-to-face interview appointments until further notice. All customers with previously scheduled appointments are being contacted and offered phone consultations. If your employees would like to schedule a phone consultation, or have retirement related questions, they can contact us at 1-866-805-0990 [518-474-7736 in the Albany Area] or email us using our secure contact form. All Office of State Comptroller (OSC) services continue to operate, although many staff are working remotely to help contain the spread of the coronavirus. We appreciate your patience during this time.

NOTICE: Your employer billing functions and information will move to Retirement Online this summer, now that a full year of employee earnings and other information has been reported in Retirement Online. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to assign someone in your organization to the billing security role. For more information, visit the Security and Contact Administrators page, which lists the different contact types and security roles.

Accounting and Financial Reporting

Our Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) application provides you with all the information you need to comply with GASB Statement No. 68.

Employer Invoices, Projections & Rates

Our Employer Invoices (INV) application allows you to view your annual invoice in a secure area of our website.

Our Employer Projections & Rates (EPR) application allows you to view a projection of your bill due February 1 of the following fiscal year. For example, a projection available in September 2019 is for the bill due February 1, 2021. EPR also allows you to review the rates for your specific plans and access other important information.

The Salary Listing and Prior Years’ Adjustments (PYA) application is a record of the salary and days worked that you reported for your employees, as well as any adjustments made to that information, for the fiscal year which ended March 31, 2019. The Prior Years’ Adjustments report is included in the Salary Listing application and reflects the adjustments submitted and posted to a member’s salary and service data.

Post-Retirement & Retirees (School Districts & BOCES)

The Post-Retirement Reporting (PRR) program allows school districts and Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) to electronically report annual salary for all public retirees on payroll during the previous calendar year, and to provide notification when a NYSLRS retiree earns more than the Section 212 limit, which is currently $35,000.
