Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to notify agencies of an automatic dues increase and a one-time retroactive adjustment.
Affected Employees
Members of NYSCOPBA, Inc. currently in, or were previously in, Bargaining Units 01 and 21 at any time since 04/01/2020, with union dues withheld (Code 291 for BU01 and Code 491 for BU21) are affected.
Background
NYSCOPBA membership dues for employees in Bargaining Unit 01 (Code 291) will increase retroactively as follows:

NYSCOPBA membership dues for employees in Bargaining Unit 21 (Code 491) will increase retroactively as follows:

Effective Dates
Effective paychecks dated 06/17/2021 (Institution) and paychecks dated 06/23/2021 (Administration).
OSC Actions
OSC will automatically increase the biweekly deduction for dues code 291 (BU01) and dues code 491 (BU21).
In addition, OSC will process an electronic input file from NYSCOPBA to deduct a one-time retroactive dues adjustment for paychecks dated 06/17/2021 and 06/23/2021 for the affected employees.
