Enhanced Reporting

Every month, you use Retirement Online to report your employees’ earnings and the number of days they worked to NYSLRS. You also report and forward employee contributions, loan payments and payments for service credit purchases (SCP). In addition, when you need to adjust previously reported information, you submit adjustments through Retirement Online.

You report this information using the enhanced reporting format, which accepts more data than the previous legacy format and makes getting member information to NYSLRS faster and easier.

We must receive your monthly report by the seventh day of the month following the report period. For example, the December report must be submitted to us by January 7; the January report must be submitted to us by February 7.

Late monthly reports can result in interest charges on members’ contributions, loans and payments for service credit purchases.
