Purpose:

The purpose of this bulletin is to notify agencies of an increase in dues for Police Benevolent Association of New York State, Inc. (University Police, Encon Police, Park Police, and Forest Rangers).

Affected Employees:

Employees in Bargaining Unit 31 represented by the Police Benevolent Association of New York State, Inc. (PBANYS) are affected.

Background:

Per the request from the PBANYS dated November 16, 2022, membership dues for employees in Bargaining Units 31 (Deduction Code 483) will increase from $50.65 to $54.70.

Effective Dates:

Effective in Administration paychecks dated January 4, 2023, and Institution paychecks dated January 12, 2023.

OSC Actions:

OSC will automatically increase the biweekly deduction for union dues (Deduction Code 483) from $50.65 to $54.70.

Agency Actions:

Agencies must notify affected employees.
