Current Issues Local Government Impact from Sales Tax Withholding Programs Webinar
The 2019-20 and 2020-21 Enacted State Budgets included legislation which require OSC to make withholdings from county sales tax collections for various purposes. These sales tax withholdings impact what municipalities might expect to receive in sales tax sharing revenues in certain months as well as the timing of when certain aid payments will be received by towns and villages. Presenters will discuss the AIM-Related Payments and Distressed Provider Assistance programs, OSC’s specific responsibilities and the resources available for each program.

Reporting Tax Data Verification for Towns and Cities
